Rustoleum works very well and after a few days becomes rather tuff. I have used it on several boats. Most any good oil based porch and deck enamel will probably work just fine.

I have used water based but I was not impressed. Harder to apply and no where near as touch once it dried. I do like the water cleanup and the semi-gloss look better.
