I've never seen this done before, so I have no information other than that generated by my own trial and error. Mike and Bill mentioned double planking , so perhaps
they can refer you to a source of detailed instructions. I reckon a search of the internet may be the best place to start.

If this works well, I'll likely add instructions for double layer stripping to my Yostwerks builders manuals.
