: I based mine on a CLC Westriver-180. It is heavier than a standard
: kayak, perhaps 100 lbs. It is a wet boat and even in light wind
: goes very well with a 7mtr rig.

: You will most likely have to cover over the cockpit as the boat
: will just swamp with the freeboard available. I added freeboard

Have you measured top speeds with GPS ?.
Can you rake the mast fore and aft using a slide at the base ?
