THE CAPE FALCON GUY HAS A REALLY GOOD TUTORIAL ON SEWING.
I WOULD UN-STITCH TO SAVE THE FABRIC AND START OVER FROM THE ENDS.
SEW A POCKET FOR THE BOW AND STERN THEN STRETCH THE CLOTH LENGTHWISE OVER THE FRAME.
SEW FROM THE ENDS AS SHOWN IN THE LINK AND YOU CAN GET A VERY TIGHT COVER WITH NO SHRINKING REQUIRED.
SEW TOWARD THE COCK PIT & ALL THE LOOSE FABRIC WILL CLEAN UP AND GET CUT OUT W/ VERY LITTLE PUCKERING.
