John, I forgot I did the staircase also and did I mention about 6 gallons of paint. The stairs was my favorite part I did natural cherry so I was at least playing with wood. I think these projects help us enjoy the paddling trips more. As soon as I get the deck done I think the Malco SUP that Malcolm designed is my next project, my daughter thinks she really needs one.
