Sorry I chimed in late, but -
I've got one of those standing lamps with a long flexible neck.
The lamp is dead, but the neck would reach to about 1/2 of the hull.
If you curve it around the inside of the side, you could easily get the side curvature. Then across the inside deck, and lastly if needed across the bottom (largely flat).
