Strip: Fiberglass vs end pour

I am still working on my Great Auk 14. I am having trouble making the inside stems of the hull smooth enough for fiberglassing. Can't get any tool in there to really smooth them. Since I am going to do an end pour (probably before I join the hull and deck), can't I just do the end pour and forget about fiberglassing these two hard to reach areas? I plan on using epoxy thickened with West 403 micro fibers to cut down on the weight.
