There is a chance you won't need to do anything quite so drastic.

The hull has deformed because the timber has been swelled by the moisture on the inside and the glassed side has stayed about the same.

Give the hull time to get rid of all the moisture before you do anything drastic. When the timber on the inside dries out enough, it will return to close to its original shape. Having the forms back in place should encourage it to move in the direction of the shape you need it to be.
