To the folks having trouble with the pasted links, try the following (It's an extra step, but will help you figure out what might be happening.)

1) Copy the link however you are currently doing it.
2) Open Notepad (Windows) or another text-only editor (something that only saves in .txt type files)
3) look at the pasted text and see if it matches what you copied. If it did, open a new browser window and paste it into the address bar.

If the pasted text doesn't look like what you thought you copied, try this (going back to the post with the link):
1) select the link text (move the cursor to the beginning, click and drag to the end of the URL)
2) right-click (Windows) or Cmd-click (Mac) and select Copy from the drop down
3) repeat the previous step three above.

What might possibly be happening is that the text isn't getting properly selected, and the copy command may be acting on the active page URL rather than the desired url in the post. This forum doesn't support active hyperlinks in messages, so you have to be really careful about how you select the URL from within the text of the page.
