I went & got some West System "Low-Density" filler and added to a couple of fill coats for a thicker, more sandable finish. The ripples are already minimized, even before sanding... pretty minor really. I think it will work out okay. I'll sand & put a couple of finish coats of epoxy/graphite/silica after the boat is complete.
