1/4"?? Wow, I'd use doorskin, coat it good with epoxy to waterproof, and install with 5200, would allow flexing. Better yet, get a piece of fiberglass mat, some Saran wrap, and epoxy and make a "membrane" bulkhead. I got the idea from my Valley Nordkapp LV, used it in my Outer Island, and it's working great well into its second season now. See:
