Hi Bill,

It's safe enough, but any scarf will be somewhat stiffer than the unscarfed wood, so best to put them where the design has less bend to it, ie: the ends. You can end up with an un-natural curve if it's put at the point of the greatest bend.

Btw, epoxy takes about a week at normal room temps to achieve a good portion of it's full stength (for West 105/207 it's about 75%), so best not to bend them right away after the epoxy has it's inital set.
