Thank you for your input Mark. Considering yours and all of the guys' excellent comments I am leaning towards a compromise. Stephen posted his "Greenlandy" SeaTour 15R earlier in the thread and I've kept coming back to it. Thought of the SeaPup, SeaBee but I wanna be able to have some decent cruising speed, stability, and be able to develop a strong skillset in the water (rolling included, I skateboard so I like doing flippety stuff).
I'll stick to the plans except for maybe the aft x sections which I'll cut flat to the gunwales (ie. #4offset at back of cockpit 6.7"). That shouldn't affect the performance, correct?
Did find a great thread at the qajaqusa forum as you suggested regarding tinting.
