: I have ordered the hatch seal material from CLC for my Night Heron.
: Anyone who has used the CLC material, what thickness of spacer

: Thanks,
: John

I didn't use the clc stuff but the seals that I used were closed cell foam weather stripping 3/16 tall by 3/8 wide for the building of the hatch ring, then when I outfitted the finished hatch I used 3/8 by 3/8. The finished hatch using under deck bungees sits about 1/16 proud of the deck. You are talking about the one ocean method on hatch ring seals right?

hope this helps
btw hatches seem to be water tight.
