I've read all this thread, and although I'm not involved in the exchange, I'll put in my two cents. I don't see any condescending or negative tone in your post. I read it the way I think you meant it, as helpful advise from a guy who has been at it a long time. It's easy to have your meaning or tone misinterpreted on the internet. God knows I've been smacked down for something I've said when the reader takes it the wrong way.

I appreciate your input and have learned a lot from your web site. Keep yer stick on the ice by'.
