Hi Mike,
I have one of those multi-tool yokes and as handy as I find it, I wouldn't use it for sanding down epoxy/glass. It does blow dust everywhere, particularly toward the user. The motor cooling fan will out-do even a good vacuum, I've tried that. :(
Rob's comments on gloves and masks was correct.

It's better to have such information available to all than have someone unable to enjoy building strip-builts due to allegy development.
