To add a little more to what Ian wrote:

Once the deck and hull are completed, you tape them together with fiberglass packing tape and you tape the inside seams. You can avoid taping the extreme ends so you can pry them open and put in some thickened epoxy and then re-tape them together so the deck and hull and bonded well on the ends.
