Hi Sean,

Greetings from the edge of the Gulf of Mexico. Right now the water temps are a pleasant 75 Fahrenheit at the beaches of Mississippi and Alabama. Inland lakes are warmer than that. In the hight of the summer it's just hot. Inside the closed cockpit it can become like a sauna, That makes wet exit practice lots of fun.
You are right about the water, It isn't as clear as the cold water of the north. When I roll I might as well have my eyes closed, I can't see squat under this murky water.
