Nah... I'm not stronger than you, Clayton. Just got a different outlook on things, maybe. If I didn't tell myself I need to wait for the PL and the paint to cure, I'd be tempted to go out before I'm properly equipped. I still need to buy my PFD, spray skirt, and flotation bags (though I'm still tempted to make another attempt at building them). The longer I wait, the warmer the water will be... 'til the end of season, at least. The warmer the water, the less I need to go out and buy a wet suit.

I figure by the time the PL and paint cures, I'll have the basics. The water will be warming up 'bout then, too. Then I can save money over the summer for the colder water paddling equipment, and extend my paddling season by a few weeks.
