Hi Bill,
I got a bunch of Boreal airbags years ago, a mix of sizes. I've tested them by inflating them and putting a smooth rock on top for a week, they all stayed inflated. At least they did with the original plugs, the wooden ones I had to make (less plastic plugs than bags) did leak a bit over the week. From boingy to not quite boingy. I think they'll do fine for my SoF's. I'm never out that long. :D
They're quite heavy but that means they're stiff enough to roll them lengthwise to put them in the kayak ends easily. They unroll with inflation.
