Good to hear that there options. I gotta give you kudos for trying the 1/2" pad. I tried sitting in the frame sans floor boards, and that keelson bothers me in places that no man should ever be bothered. Maybe a foam pad would help, especially with the water pushing the skin upwards, but you still deserve kudos.

I figured I'd give the bare floor boards a try, and then work on getting thin foam pads if the bare doesn't work out. If the thin doesn't work, I'll work my way up to thicker.

*chuckle*. I thought about my comment last night... realized that I'll probably use metal screws to attach loops to run the deck rigging through. It's too convenient.
