There were a few days were I wish I had. The only spot I caused a problem is on the last joint of my pinky finger: tiny blister, split skin. Nothing big, but I can be baby about it (to quote the wife).

I've used this "technique" in the past, and used it for the floor boards. I didn't think about beforehand, but lashing the floor board supports in required crossing the sinew within the joining hole. Makes it hard to run sinew through the hole if there's an 'X' of sinew in the way. That needle made it a lot easier feeding the sinew through. A pair of small needle nosed pliers helped pull it the needle when it started poking me instead of poking through the hole.
