Dang, and that's the closest anyone can come to wondering why on earth there might be a pair of machine guns on a sea kayak? Is this what our country is coming to? Even guys in Ireland don't seem particularly surprised? Oh, bartender...........

Thomas, that was the greatest comment yet, I just had to pass it along to John H. If CLC doesn't carry automatic weapons for kayak, maybe they ought to, since they carry just about everything else.

Okay, I'll spill it: they're fake guns for a replica Fokker D.VII. I have mounted them on a "truing" jig to assure proper fit, then placed the resulting assembly on my OI II that happened to be laying in the grass nearby.
