In Response To: Skin-on-Frame: sea sock (john faas)

: The first time I tried to get out of the boat with the sock, the
: sock got tangled around my foot. I was thinking of laying
: semi-rigid foam inside the sock--think sleeping bag pad.

I use Velcro under the top tube and atop the seam of the sea sock to keep
it open and off my feet.

An additional smaller section of Velcro under the sock and on the keel near your feet would be helpful
in keeping the sock in position when exiting.
