Strip: epoxy choice and application

Sorry to belabor a worn out topic, but I am confused. I just finished stripping. Ready for fiberglassing. I was planning on using system three silver tip with 3.2oz glass. Have the glass not the resin. Still need to buy the resin. Temperatures are in the low 50's here in Chicago. I am not going to heat the garage or build a tent, do you think I should? I planned on spreading out the glass then applying the mixed resin. I was not planning on preweeting the wood before I layed out the glass...right? It seems that 12 hours later I can apply the second coat of resin. Then remove the deck and apply the same way inside of deck. I am confused on the need for the prewetting step. Like many others....newbie here. And then after I reasemble deck to hull I would apply vaious levels of varnish.
Thanks for your confimation. After the beautiful woodwork I hate to mess it up at this stage.
