Thankfully the birthing process was rather painless. I left work early to get home, get the boat out and get on the water. On the way home, I had a fit of anxiety. "Did I really take the right measurements? Will it fit down the stairs and out the front window? Luckily the escape route worked perfectly. I had visions of me taking a chainsaw to the house and making a new and bigger "window" on the third floor!!
