: It's been a while since I posted anything here, but I'm finally
: getting some progress on my strip deck for my CLC Northbay. In
: the meantime, though, we've expanded our family and now I need a
: boat that will seat 2 or 3 of us.

: Anyone know of good links for some SOF designs I could use for
: inspiration in the process of designing my SOF multi-player
: boat? I'm considering having a "removable" cockpit
: area that has a couple of zip in cockpits to fit various needs
: but the base of the design would probably be a large open
: cockpit like on an Old Town Twin Otter.

: I am just looking for some ideas at this point but I'm leaning
: toward a greenland style base for the design because I like the
: hard chines and stability offered by that "class" of
: kayak since it will mostly be my wife and young children in it.

Seek and ye shall find. I just found Dave Gentry's Chuckanut 15, which looks like a great starting point for the design in my mind. Looks like it should be a fairly quick build, too.
