I would think that instead of trying for a direct comparison of fabric and coatings to each other it would make more sense to compare each to another method of construction that you can relate to. Like "how does this fabric / coating method compare to the average fiberglass kayak"? You're not likely to take your fiberglass kayak and drag it thru a parking lot, why would you do it with your SOF and what does that prove?
