Thanks for your comments Greg. I discovered that each build is a leaning experience. I look at my first kayak and cringe at some of the things I did (though the kayak is perfectly functional, aesthetically much could be improved) yet I know that was part of my growth as a builder. I began to do some inlay on my 4th boat and that really changed the way I could incorporate new elements into the design.

This kayak is a Redfish Spring Run, but I modified the cockpit a bit to increase the recess and cockpit opening.
