PREMATURE CELEBRATION

The parts are scrap and they are back to making test panels again. Still exciting and disappointing at the same time.

: Now imagine a composite kayak made with skateboard wheel material.
: Thanks to Sterling and friends I will have the first one in the
: world. It popped out of the molds this morning at 25 lbs with
: the flanges still on it. I hope to be posting photos of it on
: the water by next weekend. Test panels have proven incredibly
: tough which translates to lighter and stronger layup schedules.
: Working procedures are quite complex so I don't see this having
: much value for the home builders. Tis interesting stuff though.
