I'm a cabinetmaker by trade so I knew my first kayak wouldn't be cheap so I just did a guick, accurate tally.I'm also exactly mid way and all my milling was done in my shop...

As I was fairing and sanding hull I was forced to spend $682 on Festools sander and vac. I don't regret it at all. It really does collect 100% of the dust!
