Re: S&G: Filleting the deck to hull - the inside j

I finished this task a few evenings ago - thankfully!!

I have an entry in my blog about it :

http://justyakkin2.blogspot.com/2011/03/crappy-work-and-crappy-pictures.html

To put the tape in place, I pre-wet it, then draped it length ways over a long thin stick. I poked the stick right to the stem/stern and lay the tape into the seam. I'd then use the stick to poke and prod the tape to make sure that it was sticking to sides of the hull. This worked really well - once I figured out that this was the easiest way to do it!!

In the meantime, how do I go about making live links in my postings?

: I am currently building Duane Strosaker's Point Bennett 18. I've
: just tacked the hull and deck together and now I have to fillet
: the inside seams. The only real problem areas will be the stem
: and stern. My fwd and aft hatches are both about 4' from the
: ends of the boat -which makes for a pretty tight fit for doing
: the filleting.

: I was wondering if anybody has any tips or tricks on how to to this
: as painless as possible.

: I've been tracking my progress in my blog if anybody is interested.
