I didn't see it mentioned, so I'll add some tips. I stapled my first, have gone stapleless since - except for those spots that
refuse to bend to my will! Hotglue helps, as well. And cut a bunch of lil' notched 'retainers', I made mine from 1/8" plywood. You
place the notch over the strip you're trying to convince, and clamp it against a station until the hotglue on the form, and the
glue from the strips, dry. I use live-rubber tourniquets to squeeze the strips together between the forms, or packing tape; gives you
a bit nicer glue line. And a heatgun works really well for bending the strips near the ends. I used 3/4" strips on the first, I'm using 1/2" on the others -
makes a world of difference, allows following the complex curves much easier.
