: I've finished stripping the hull of my Firestar and did a 60 grit

: Is this something I need to worry about? I tried shifting the form

: take? Wondering if I'll need to get used to paddling in circles
: if it's left as-is.

Hi Mark,
It could be bad, for the bend will act as a rudder or skeg.
What you could do is add a skin to one side to thicken it bring it back to a straight line.
Just glue strips over the top of the bent section and feather it in until you get the same profile as the other side. You might need to replace the outer stem though.
