Strip: Gap Between Deck and Hull

Hi all,

I am almost ready to glass the outside of my boat. I have a gap of say 1/4 inch in some areas (mostlly near the ends where the curve is the greatest) between the deck and the hull. In the present un-glassed state it is easy to flex the two pieces until they form a good mating surface. Will I still be able to flex this gap closed when the deck and hull are glassed inside and out? First time builder here.
