: Let me say up front I sell the Select Design (formerly Sea Dogs)
: footrests. But, the reason I sell them is because I love them
: and use them in all my boats. What I like best is that they are
: simple to adjust while in the boat. Never have jammed on me. I
: got some mud in them and they got a little sticky but a quick
: rinse with a garden hose and there good again. I find them be
: really sturdy but if you going to be surfing big waves or
: something extreme they might not up to that. Otherwise I
: wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

: I have a set of Yakima's or copies of and while they are very well
: built, I find them nearly impossible to adjust once in the boat.
: Not that they are hard to adjust, just hard to adjust with your
: feet. They jammed with mud but a quick rinse and they were free
: again.

Hi Jeff,

Just takes a bit of learning to adjust the yaks, have to teach your feet to use the tops of them, something you don't often do :)

Easy enough when you get the hang of it.
