In Response To: S&G: Humpdeck (Room for Feet) *PIC* (Duane Strosaker)

The deck height at the front of the ocean cockpit is 8.75 inches, and the height of the hump is 10.5 inches. The pad eyes are forward of my hands during the stroke. I've taken the kayak out twice before painting, and the deck is out of the way of my stroke. From some angles it looks odd, and from others, really cool. But it is very functional.
