: I was so happy with the wetout of the glass on both my hull and
: deck, but subsequent processing have left some runs/sags to deal
: with. At this point, I've got one thin fill coat of epoxy on
: both hull and deck. Some areas need a bit more epoxy to fill the
: weave, others are completely filled, and then there are areas
: with some sagging from trying to fill the coming riser, and the
: stems. My questions are.... Do I need to finish fill coats
: before attempting to sand out runs/sags, or should I try to sand
: on them now? Any good ideas for how to go about sanding out
: runs? Everything was going so well up to this point, but the
: wheel's seem to have fallen off...

Hi Todd,
Get a cabinet scraper, make sure it's ground right and scrape the runs down first. In painting and varnishing, I've found that an existing run or sag will be the likely start of another on the next coat.
