: I epoxy seal coated my deck for stability prior to taking off the
: frames so I could glass the hull. The hull is glassed and now
: I'm ready to go back and glass the deck. How hard do I need to
: sand that seal coat on the deck to get the glass wetout to
: adhere well? Do I just need a light sanding with 120 grit or so?

Speaking of sanding the deck. I am getting close to where you two gentlemen are with my build and I want to know, do you or did you glass the outside of the deck before you began to sand and fair it on the inside? The deck of my guillemot is so light that I am afraid that if I turn it over and try to work on the inside before I glass the outside that it will crack in half near the cockpit area where you only have a few strips down each side? It is either glass the outside first or make a few more stands to support the whole structure every few feet or so to keep if from cracking in half. What am I missing?

Thanks.
