This may be a bit late, but be careful of foam rollers as well. Not all of them will be up to dealing with epoxy.

I used 1/4" nap rollers from the composites place that I bought some carbon material from. They were colored like a candy cane, and I think that they may have even had a name something like candy cane. Anyway, I cut them into 3 pieces for a 3" roller and they did a great job. If you cut up either type of roller, be careful to remove the loose bits from the cut line.

I would stay away from any roller that appears to be made with a cardboard tube unless you have specific information to indicate it would be ok. If in doubt, test well before using them on the boat. You probably know this already, but in case you don't, after you roll on the epoxy, "tip" it off with a bristle or foam brush to smooth out the finish.
