I don't have gaskets in yet but don't expect any trouble with sealing mine. You could get away with less than I used, I went about 2" apart. I also did not want to worry about lose items opening these during rolling, or extra attachments inside other than a tether. Also if you use 1/8" thick magnets for the lid and lip you get a stronger bond than 1/16" and 1/8" as in my case. Drilling the lids for 1/8" magnets gets pretty thin.

I was also going for an even seal all the way around. And they take considerable force to open, I am very happy with these. Would not change a thing next time around. Joe
