In Response To: Strip: lofting question. (Sean McGrath)

If you want to loft w/ pencil & paper you can usually get graph paper at a drafting supply store.
there are several mail order shops that are nationwide and on the web.
I buy most of my office supplies from DataPrint.com or draphixdirect.com
it will really simplify things to order a paper in the units you intend to use.
Clearprint fade-out design and sketch vellum will be available in 4x4, 8x8 or 10x10 cross sections sizes.
So an 8x8 would mean 8 little squares per inch. Which would be handy for imperial units.
10x10 would work better for metric.
I layed mine out on a CAD program stacked them up and visually checked the alignment, but you can do the same with vellum.
btw vellum allows you to see thru a layer or two and check the offsets relative to each other.

Have fun drafting,
L
