I really like them. I've installed them on four kayaks and can't imagine using anything else. I often travel down the freeway with my kayaks on top of my truck and I never give the hatches a second thought because I know with the Mobys in place you can't leave your hatch unattached. I tried the under deck bungies first and pretty much hated the effort needed to get the hatch cover on and off which is why I created the Moby Latch System.

I have a little hobby band saw where I stack four pieces of 1/8 inch plywood and cut out two complete Mobys at a time. It keeps the build task down to a bearable limit.
