: paddling it a few times without attaching the seat, then glue it down
: without velcro when I have determined the best position. Couldn't find the
: barge cement, but goop is available everywhere.

I paddled all last year with the seat just sitting there, just have to remember to take it out at the end of the paddle or it won't be there when you get home.
