: Exactly my point - and GP, for similar and different reasons, also has such
: limits to it's effective/optimal application (flared stroke or not - and
: even more so not). The narrower the better. The difference with a GP in my
: 21" wide commercial kayak and my sub 19" wide SOF is very
: noticeable.

So far I've not had the guts nor warm enough water to invite swimming with my 19" wide SOF to try it. Course having paddled it once in 40 degree water doesn't help. Am very much looking forward to this summer.
