I agree with Chris, Tom, and good job making us think. I saw a statement the other day that had me thinking and re-think it. "It takes the same amount of energy to walk a mile or run a mile." All things being equal, like wind resistance, etc., this may be true or not. I tried to apply it here but it makes my head hurt.
