The cost of the strips floored me also. But what really put the nail in the coffin was the cost of shipping the strips to southeast Georgia. So I bought the cove and bead bits and made my own strips. It was a very boring process. That was the first boat, on the second I went to the more challenging process of running bevel. Both have their pros and cons, will have to work with both methods more to make the decision as to which I like best. Guess I will have to start another for this experimental process.
