Re: Seeking: GP drip control?
In Response To: Seeking: GP drip control? ()

: Tried out my first two Greenland Paddles this weekend. Promptly found a flaw
: in my first one. SNAP! Used the second one a while and man does it feel
: different! I didn't get to use it long because I didn't have a skirt and
: it was soaking me. It was way to cold to paddle in wet pants so I had to
: switch to a Euro paddle with drip rings. Once I get my boat built I will
: be buying and using a skirt.

: So, has anyone found a effective way to control dripping on the GP? My
: thoughts were maybe a notch in the blade or tying a fancy knot out of some
: string on the blade.

Well...it's wet, and a low angle fairly fast cadence stroke helps a little, still wet. You need to be able to move the paddle around so anything that stops the water will also prevent the hands from easily sliding on the paddle.
