: Having only one edge to bevel would require the strips go down in a
: certain order.
That is one of my concerns. I don't think it wise to start on edge and work across. I think I need to start in the center and work outwards. But that means on one side the edges with the veneer needs to be trimmed.
I am thinking a wider solid strip down the center with no strip, either a wide strip or multiple normal strips and then I could work off each side of it. Turn the veneer edge opposite on each side of it. Assuming it would look OK that way and I think it would. The old inboards were done that way.
Trying to foresee the problem now, not after I am into stripping it.
