It is true that some groups and associations prefer their paddlers to have bulkheads. I think this is a bit hard on the SOF brigade. There are also varied feelings in some organisations on the compulsory installation of full decklines and various other likes and dislikes. For home builders who want to try different effects, visual as well as performance-wise, this, though understandable, can be a real pain.

I still think you should put in the extra bulkhead though. You have already put in the hatch. You are half way there already.
